MOONBIRD

Moonbird is the solo electronic project of musician Pierre Chamot. Halfway between the impressionistic landscapes of Apparat, the cold techno of Daniel Avery and the tortuous interpretations of Thom Yorke, electronics here become the canvas for a certain sensibility, with a pronounced taste for immersion in emaciated imaginary landscapes.

The vocals, somewhere between English and French, open up portals to other unknowns and come to rest on shifting synthetic textures, propelled by an incisive beat. On stage, the synaesthetic intensity of the tracks is underscored by organic, abstract video projections to create a veritable imaginary world, transporting the spectator into a lucid dream experience.
